TERMS AND CONDITIONS

RENTING TERM: The least renting term is 24 hours.

DRIVER'S license AND AGE REQUIREMENTS: To be at least 21 years old and to have held a driving license for at least 2 years to rent an economy segment car; 25 years old and to have held a driving license for at least 3 years to rent a middle segment car; 28 years old and to have held a driving license for at least 5 years to rent an upper segment car; 30 years old and to have held a driving license for at least 5 years to rent a luxury segment car.   

PAYMENTS AND ADVANCE DEPOSIT: You can use your valid credit card for renting. Depending on the car segment you choose, a pre-provision of about 750-1.000 TL shall be deposited from your credit card for gas and other extra expenses. For upper and luxury segment cars, 1.000 TL per each shall be deposited from two different credit cards. Final provision amount will be defined at the return of the car. 

SERVICES INCLUDED IN THE PRICE: Exempt accident insurance and VAT are included in the price. The exempt accident insurance covers damages caused by collision. In the event that the insurance conditions are met, the damages due to collision shall be covered by the insurance, except for the amount that the lessee should pay, which is between 500-1.500 TL depending on the segment of preference. This insurance policy does not cover damages that are not due to collision (parking lot, tires, glass, headlights).

EXTRA SECURITY: For a safer drive, please obtain information from our representatives about the following collateral guarantee items.

TIRES/GLASS/HEADLIGHTS INSURANCE: This insurance not only removes the 750-1.500 TL responsibility of the lessee, but also covers damages that are not due to collision (parking lot, tires, glass, headlights), up to 750-1.500 TL, upon customer statement. 

THEFT INSURANCE: This insurance includes workforce loss due to theft.
Third party liability insurance: Material damages given to third parties with the leased automobile are covered by compulsory traffic insurance within specified limits. The lessee can increase these limits by paying for additional premium.
Personal accident insurance: In case of an accident, this insurance policy covers injury, death and treatment of 4 passengers including the driver in any NORD TRAVEL car, within specified limits.

ADDITIONAL SERVICES 

ONE-WAY RENTAL: It is possible to pick-up the car in a city and return it in another city. However, this condition depends on reservation availability and requires extra delivery fee.

ADDITIONAL DRIVER: The driver has to have a driving license and comply with the specific age requirements. The lessee should pay an additional daily fee for each driver after the third.

DELIVERY: On condition that you notify us beforehand and depending on availability, you can benefit from the pinpoint delivery service for, requires extra fee. 

BABY AND CHILD SEAT: Baby and chair seats are available for the safety of your child. You can demand this service during reservation, requires extra fee.

EXTRA HOURS: In case the lessee is late for the returning hour specified in the contract, 1/5 of the daily renting price is charged per each late hour.

NAVIGATION: You can demand this device from many of our offices, for a more comfortable journey. Please inquire during reservation. 

GAS: We deliver the automobiles full in gas, as much as possible, and expect them back full in gas. Differences in gas amounts shall be charged with an additional service fee.

VALIDITY TERMS FOR ASSURANCE TO BENEFIT FROM INSURANCE: In case following situations, the assurance to benefit from insurance shall be deemed invalid and the damage shall remain beyond the scope of insurance. 
 
o Somebody else other than the names stated in the lease contract driving the vehicle. 
o Damages due to misuse (such as driving the automobile with overheated engine, bad road conditions, driving on flat tires, bad or wrong type of gas use etc.)
o Drunk or drugged driving. 
o Driving without obeying the traffic rules (such as exceeding the speed limit, running red lights etc.) 
o Driving carelessly and recklessly (such as not moderating speed during rainy weather or bad road conditions, driving without paying attention to keeping a safe distance with other cars etc.) 
o Not picking up the necessary documents and reports from relevant authorities, about accidents that happened (such as traffic and alcohol reports etc.) 

EXTREME DIRT AND STAINS: Expenses for cleaning the dirt and stains caused by pets carried in the automobile, wet upholstery, food and drink, shall be collected from the customer. 

TERMS FOR CHANGES IN RENTING CONTRACT: The conditions defined in the beginning of reservation and renting processes are specific to that renting agreement. NORD TRAVEL RENT A CAR is free to accept or decline any changes regarding the following conditions; and in the event that it does accept, the company holds the right to change the daily renting price: 
o Changes in the returning date and hour (extension/early returning) 
o Changes in the returning station 
o Changes in the car segment 
o Including another driver to the contract
